Ways to Give

South Suburban Montessori School is a 501(c)(3) organization and as such gratefully accepts monetary contributions and gifts in kind. All such donations are tax-deductible to the full extent of the law.

Monetary Contributions

A monetary gift of any amount makes a difference to the South Suburban School community, both by providing a financial benefit to the school and by inspiring others to participate in support of our mission.

Monetary gifts can be made in cash or by check or credit card and may be restricted or designated for a specific purpose such as the library or scholarship funds.

Monetary gifts can also be made as Honor or Memorial Gifts which celebrate the life or achievements of a person or group. South Suburban will notify the honoree(s) or the family of the memorialized individual about your gift without disclosing the amount. Send your instructions in writing to the school. Please specify both the name(s) of the honored/memorialized persons and the name and address of the family to be notified.

Donors that routinely contribute to United Way can designate that their contributions be allocated to South Suburban Montessori School. Please contact United Way for information about beginning that process.

To make the most of any monetary contribution, donors should check with their current place of employment as many employers match employee charity contributions.

Gifts in Kind

Gifts in kind are non-monetary items of tangible personal property and other physical assets that represent value to South Suburban. Examples might include books, artwork and equipment. As with monetary donations, such gifts provide the donor with income tax benefits.  Please contact the Head of School at 440.526.1966 for information about making your gift.
