Financial Aid Policy

South Suburban Montessori School grants student aid based upon financial need and availability of funds.  The family’s financial need will be determined by information submitted to Private School Aid Services and granted upon approval from the Board of Trustees. The total amount of aid given will not exceed 50% of total tuition cost.

Both current and new families are eligible for aid, with priority given to currently enrolled families.

Families wishing to apply for Financial Aid may get an application from the school office.  Families not currently enrolled at South Suburban Montessori School must submit an enrollment application and pay the application fee before a financial aid application can be submitted.  After obtaining the financial aid form, the family must complete the form and mail it to Private School Aid Service with the appropriate application fee by the pre-established deadline.

Financial aid awards are communicated to families by letter and parents must indicate in writing their decision to accept or decline the award.  Financial aid awards will be deducted from the tuition at year end after receipt of the final tuition payment.

Financial aid is given for one year, and each year a new Financial Aid application must be submitted.

South Suburban Montessori Association gladly accepts donations to its Financial Aid Fund.
